Apologies… this blog post is gunna be a short one… Been crazy busy all week. Doing exciting fun things like two scenes for fake taxi, Which has unfortunately left me with very little time to plan and write a blog post for this week,
This weeks topic is Fitness. Annoyingly its fallen just before my half marathon in Vegas. So struggling with exciting things to talk about. For those of you that read my previous fitness blog post, you may remember that I was doing a 10k race earlier this month as a little preparation for the half marathon. I was hoping to complete the 10k in under an hour. I finished in 53mins. So I was super happy with that. I’ve done a couple more 5k, and 10k training runs since, but still haven’t done anything longer. Was meant to run 15k today but then got too booked up with incalls. Not gonna lie. feeling a little bit underprepared. as a half marathon is 21k, and I’ve only done half that distance this year; I’m hoping that being half iron man fit last year will mean it won’t hurt too much. (a half ironman has a long swim, a long bike ride, and then finished with a half marathon.)
So my Vegas race is two weeks off. I’m massively underprepared, and probably the most unfit I’ve been in like 5 years, but fingers crossed it goes well. On the flip side, I figure I need to make the most of the trip. I’m only going to be in Vegas for 4 days. I would love some recommendations from you guys of things I must do while I’m there, or anything you might like to see me doing. I was thinking it might be cool to go to a firing range or something. obviously, I’ll need to hit the casinos. Any of my fellow foodies, if you could recommend some good places to eat, that would be great!
